A Near Mint First Year Stratocaster.

1954 Fender Stratocaster.

A spectacular example of a first year Stratocaster… this near mint guitar weighs just 7.50 lbs. Solid ash body and one-piece fretted maple neck with a huge profile. Three single-coil pickups with staggered polepieces and outputs of 5.97, 10.25k, and 6.26k. Six-pivot bridge/vibrato unit with through-body stringing. All white bakelite parts. The neck has a pencil mark of "TG[Tadeo Gomez]-10-54." The tremolo cavity has a pencil mark of "8/54." There is virtually no finish checking on this guitar and the finish is unfaded and not hazed or dulled-out in any way. This is a spectacular playing, sounding and looking example. Complete with the original tremolo arm and tremolo cover with six screws. Housed in its original Fender 'center-pocket' tweed case with red plush lining (9.25). Museum quality…
