The 245S is a dazzling solidbody guitar that is worth its price for its tone and playability as an electric instrument alone, but the addition of the electric-acoustic tones provided by the PRS/L.R. Baggs piezo pickup system is a bonus that makes the 245S ideal as the main axe for any player who needs versatile electric and realistic acoustic tones on stage. The piezo system sounds best when routed out of the piezo output and into an acoustic guitar amp or house sound system, but it also produces rich and realistic acoustic tones when using only the guitar’s mix output and playing through an amp’s clean channel.
