"Henman guitars are the fusion of minimalism, craftsmanship, art, and old school quality. We have created instruments for the guitarist who can truly appreciate handcrafted masterpieces."

The Mod is absolutely beautiful. The design is unique and spectacular, but what really makes this guitar stand out is its playability and tone. The tappable pickups offer a range of tones not often found on a single guitar. Before plugging the mod into an amplifier, strumming the instrument acoustically you will immediately notice that it resonates through its body into yours like no other guitar you have played. This is the true test of a great guitar.

The finishes of all Henman guitars are named after Bond girls. The body is one piece African mahogany with a figured North American maple top and headstock. The 25.5” scale neck is 3-piece African Sapele with a figured Makassar Indonesian ebony fingerboard. The three piece neck is a unique tension-free design.

Created to remove tension from the neck allowing the guitar to resonate like no other. String tension is lessened by up to 80% over traditional guitars. Truss bar adjustments, while rarely necessary, are cleverly performed by removing a plug on the back of the guitar and simply inserting a supplied allen driver and making minimal turns in the desired direction.

The electronics include a 3-way toggle switch, 1 master volume with a push/pull to boost gain, and 1 master tone with a push/pull to tap from humbucker to single coil. All of the components are hand assembled and include brass interior parts. Both the neck and bridge pickups are Seymour Duncan Seth Lover humbuckers. Both pickups are tappable. Pickups are easily interchangeable with a 5 pin connector system, no soldering. More selected Seymour Duncan, Lollar and Fralin pickups also available or supply your favorites. Bigsby original B-5 bridge, exclusive Sperzel locking tuners, and Henman’s own exclusive machined tuning keys. Everything in the design of these guitars is deliberate and brilliant. Clearly the choice for the musician who appreciates true art, without sacrificing ultimate playability and tone. (www.henmanguitars.com).

Henman guitars are being used by many recording artists including Steve Marker of Garbage "The Henman guitars gave me back the love of playing the instrument at a time when I was looking for inspiration and for something different… the Mod is my main guitar now - it's completely solid, it sounds great, it stays in tune, and it reacts to how you play it in a way that I've not experienced before and they're incredibly beautiful. I'm hooked." Vernon Reid of Living Colour says "The thing the Henman possesses is beauty of design, tone, construction. Something rare in an uncaring ugly world." Steve Craddock of Paul Weller  and Ocean Colour Scene, says "I've been playing my white Mod and Rocka on stage at every gig since the day I got them." Henman guitars are also used by Vernon Reid (Living Colour), Colin Hay (Men at Work), Jack Daley (Lenny Kravitz Band) and Ri Markmann & Craig Bartock (Heart).
