This absolutely mint 14 inch/wide 'Parlor' guitar weighs just 4.10 lbs. and has a fat nut width of 1 3/4 inches, a scale length of 25.00 inches and a body depth of just over four inches. The top bracing is of the authentic "X" style using solid Adirondack spruce. Natural two-piece AAA Adirondack Red Spruce top with multi-bound Fancy Grade Abalone rosette. Solid Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. The top of the body has triple flamed maple purfling and the bottom of the body has double flamed maple purfling. The Brazilian rosewood back has a flamed maple stripe. Solid mahogany neck with a very comfortable medium profile and Flamed Maple heel cap. Solid ebony fretboard with bone nut, 19 medium frets with mother-of-pearl 'notched' square fingerboard inlays in the long “Golden Era” pattern. Solid mahogany headstock with Brazilian rosewood veneer and 'bullet' shaped ebony truss-rod cover with single screw. Headstock with inlaid abalone Flying "G" with mother-of-pearl wings. Individual chrome Gotoh 510 Super tuners with seven-sided ebony buttons. Thin clear plastic pickguard. Ebony Bridge with compensated bone saddle and ebony pins with mother-of-pearl inlays. The decorative square label inside the sound hole reads: James Goodall / Guitars / Kailua-Kona, Hawaii / model: "BRP-12 4820" [written in black ink] / "James Goodall" [signed in black ink].
This incredible guitar is in mint (9.50) as new condition and is complete with the original Warranty, Instruction leaflet and the Calton Case information sheet. Housed in the original Calton Deluxe, five-latch shaped 'Granite' case with dark blue plush lining and five case keys (9.50). The original MSRP on this guitar was over $12,000… this is a great opportunity to obtain an original James Goodall Hawaiian made Brazilian Rosewood Parlor Guitar for much less money and without having to wait for a very, very long time…
