2005 Fender Custom Shop 'Mary Kaye' Stratocaster

This ‘56 Stratocaster® Relic® wth a Vintage Blonde finish weighs 7.10 lbs. and has a nut width of 1 11/16 inches and a scale length of 25 1/2 inches. Two-piece ash body, one-piece maple neck with "10/’56 “Boat Neck” Shape," and maple fretboard with 21 Vintage Style medium frets and black dot position markers. Headstock with Fender decal Fender/Gotoh® Vintage Style Tuning Machines with nickel-plated oval buttons. Three Custom ‘50s Single-Coil Strat® Pickups with balanced outputs of 5.88k, 5.81k, and 5.87k. Single-layer white plastic pickguard with eight screws. Three controls (one volume, two tone) plus three-way selector switch, all on pickguard. White plastic knobs with gold lettering. American Vintage Synchronized Tremolo. All hardware gold-plated. Tastefully relic's by the Fender Custom Shop. Housed in the original Fender Vintage Tweed hardshell case with orange plush lining (9.50). With the Fender Custom Shop "Certificate of Authenticity", original black leather strap, manuals, guitar cord, case keys, etc.

This ‘56 Stratocaster® Relic® guitar "incorporates many unique details from one of the most sought-after and collectable Stratocasters ever made—it features a 10/56 neck with a huge 'boat-neck' profile, a two-piece ash body and a single-ply pickguard with eight screws. The Custom Shop have even recreated tooling holes and marks made during the original production process! This guitar has been given their “Light Relic” treatment—built to show years of natural light wear and tear; with just a few nicks and scratches, a couple of areas of surface wear on the bass top-edge and on the back. The fretboard has been perfectly aged with just the right amount of wear, thsi guitar really does look like a played, but very well cared for 1956 Mary Kaye Stratocaster.
