This incredible custom hand-built guitar 'weighs just 7.80 lbs. Offset asymmetrical double-cutaway, three-piece Koa body with a sculptured book-matched quilted maple top with plain edging. Three-piece Korina 'Deep Pocket Set-Thru' neck with a wide nut width of just over 1 11/16 inches, a wonderful medium-to-thick profile and a scale length of 24.75 inches. Specific McNaught headstock with quilted maple face and plain maple edging. Headstock decal "David Thomas McNaught" in gold, flamed maple truss-rod cover with three screws. Individual Schaller 'Rotamatic' locking tuners with half-moon metal buttons. Back of headstock signed in black marker "D. Thomas McNaught FEB 2000" and serial number "64" stamped in black. Ebony fretboard edged in plain maple with 24 medium-jumbo frets and inlaid 'shark-tooth' shaped maple position markers. One DiMarzio DP190 Air Classic 'Zebra' Humbucker in the neck position and one DiMarzio DP156 'Zebra' Humbucker from Hell in the bridge position with outputs of 11.03k and 13.95k respectively. The pickups are uncovered as usual. Two controls (one volume, one tone) plus a five-position 'blade' pickup selector switch. Gold plastic barrel-shape "Speed" control knobs. Nashville style Tune-O-Matic bridge and separate 'stud' tailpiece. All hardware gold-plated. This amazing guitar is in mint (9.50) condition. Together with the original purchasers receipt for $4,400 dated March 2000. Housed in the original three-latch rectangular black hardshell case with black leather ends and black plush lining (9.50).
