All Original December 1961 Brazilian Rosewood 'Slab Board' Telecaster Neck

1961 (December) Telecaster neck with slab-rosewood board with 21 original frets and clay-dot position markers. "Fender" 'spaghetti logo' in silver with black outline, "Telecaster" in black below, and "DES.164,227 PAT.2,573,254. 2,784,631" in black below that. This neck including the hardware weighs 1.30 lbs. The nut width is just under 1 11/16 inches and the neck has a very comfortable medium profile. Original Kluson deluxe single-line tuners with oval metal buttons and "D-169400 / PATENT NO" on the underside, complete with original ferrules and 'butterfly' string-tree and metal spacer. The original frets show some signs of wear but they still have plenty of life left in them. Some light playing wear to the varnish on the back of the neck between the first and ninth frets. Neck dated in pencil "12-61". Small cigarette burn by the low E tuner peg. Otherwise a totally original and excellent plus (8.75) neck - just waiting for the right 1961 or early 1962 Telecaster body…
