2006 Cornell The 'Eric' Amp Custom 40
Specially Built for Eric…
This Cornell-Custom 40 Combo was specially built by Denis Cornell in 2006 for Eric Clapton and is covered in the chocolate brown imitation aligator the same as Eric's other Cornell amps. For some reason unknown to Eric's supplier (Chris Trigg of Vintage and Rare Guitars in London) Eric decided not to take this one and it was shipped to yours truly here in sunny Calabasas… where it has been used by us for demo for the past four years.

One of the Most Perfect Guitars Ever Made!
This specially hand-made guitar weighs 7.70 lbs. and has a nut width of just under 1 11/16 inches and a double-octave scale length of 24 3/4 inches. Chambered mahogany body with recessed brushed steel (to look like antique silver) top plate engraved with a Chinese Dragon design, one-piece bolt-on mahogany neck with a medium to fat "C" profile typical of a '59 Les Paul, and aluminum bound ebony fretboard with 24 jumbo frets and aluminum dot position markers.
