This is a one-of-a-kind built from woods that we won't see anymore. For the player who wants a little something very precious and special." (The Acoustic Pro Musician).

Luthier Richard Hoover began building guitars and carved-top mandolins in 1972. By 1976 his focus was on the modern steel string guitar. The task of becoming a master at all aspects of guitar making is a lifelong pursuit, and Richard has patiently refined his craftsmanship and knowledge as his boutique company has grown. His handmade acoustic guitars are played by some of the world's best players, including Eric Clapton, Doc Watson, Tony Rice, Elvis Costello, and many others.
